  5. Well up to today I had not even attempted a box jump because of my knees, my feet and every other part of my body and also because I am intimidated by the idea of jumping up on a box as I am scared that I will fall flat on my face.

    Well today – with much coaching/pushing by Mick I attempted a box jump (off the small box) and when I was able to do one properly, I then had to do 100 for the workout. OMD.

    I started the workout and on the second box jump I fell flat on my knees and wrists, so I though well that is it, I can’t do any more. Apparently I was wrong – I think that Mick has heard the “fall off the horse and get straight back on it” story too many times so he encouraged/made me get up and keep going, which I did and ended up doing 100 box jumps with three more “trip ups” in between.

    Although I thought of many many names to call Mick during the workout, the upshot of it is that on the 8th December 2010 I was able to do box jumps – still can’t do double unders though.

  7. Lucky for you Michael I have left my mobile phone at home. Otherwise you would have received a phone call. My arms nor my legs are functioning this morning and I am in pain – once again. That workout last night was extremely tough.

    Last nights workout followed by weighted pull ups – I would have to agree with Karen, you are trying to kill someone!

  9. I don’t like this at all πŸ™ beeing away from crossfitt. But i will do a workout tonight, 100 burpee and squats, then I might not feel like i’m missing out of to much, can’t wait to be back on Friday.

  14. Mim – what an awesome effort this morning! Box jumps and the whole ‘getting back on the horse’ thing – amazing!
    My legs are really letting me know that we had a big session today!

  18. Cant wipe the smile off my face!!! It has been a goal of mine for ages to do an unassisted chin up and with some encouragement from the 6pm crew and Micks awesome way of explaining technique I was finally able to reach this goal tonight!! You rock Mick, you have made my week, if not month. Thanks πŸ˜€
