CROSSFIT 4551ers WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
Guys our good mate Petey John Robertson hit me up a few weeks back regarding a tragedy that happened to one of his mates son and family. And before you think it’s just another fundraiser or it’s too early to get up please think again (read story below)!
It really should be a no brainer that we all make an effort and get behind this WOD, imagine if it were someone you were close to!?!? So lets gather together and raise some coins and enjoy a BBQ breakfast afterwards.
So I have made a WOD up named “Charlie” that requires 2 people (feel free to bring anyone: friends, family etc.) It is an obstacle course style WOD that can be shared in your team. PLEASE MAKE THE EFFORT!!

CHARLIE’S STORY:
Charlie Michael Edward Taylor, was a bouncing, happy little boy about to turn 5yrs old on 24th October 2015. He was excited to start playing football with the Beachmere Pelicans Junior Rugby League club, he loved Ninja Turtles, and a group of us were looking forward to a camping trip together at the end of October to celebrate his 5th birthday, of which his father (Matty Taylor) was giving him his first dirt bike.
Friday 2nd October, little Charlie was admitted to Caboolture Hospital with a stomach ache. The Doctors couldn’t diagnose him, other than saying his sodium levels skyrocketed, he had a seizure which caused swelling on the brain, and he was then induced into a coma. He was transported to Lady Cilento Children’s Hosptial in Brisbane and put on life support. Still with no explanation from the Doctors, they expressed to the family that there was nothing that could be done to save this beautiful, happy little boy – and to prepare for his passing. He was taken off life support on Tuesday morning, 6th October – and over a harrowing 4 days, in total, he passed away naturally, with no understanding or answers as to why.
Charlie leaves behind his loving father Matty, mother Amy, brother Benji and two sisters Riana and Killara.

IF ANYONE IS DOWN BRISSY WAY SATDY!!
In remembrance of “Charlie Michael Edward Taylor”, they are hosting a fundraiser for this family, on Saturday December 5th. A celebration of a life taken too soon.
