Team WOD Thursday 07/06/2012

Note: Due to the style of WOD for today we ask that you come in early (20-30mins) to enable ample opportunity to sort teams, warm-up appropriately and make sure we are not rushing to start. Any late comers will have last preference in regards to weight and teams, so if your late don’t be surprised if you are automatically scaling the WOD regardless of your ability.

  6. Awesome morning crew with some gutsy efforts!!

Would be great if the 6pm crew could get in as early as possible and start the warm-up on the board whilst 4.45pm finish off the WOD. Lengthy little WOD today may throw session times out a little so be prepared!

  7. OMG that was a MONSTER! That was my 1st Team WOD and a massive thanks to the boys for getting me through it! Esp Kurt who carried a huge share of the overhead reps!

  8. In a team it was fantastic and loved it thankyou so much to my team!!! Appreciated your help and encouragement!!!!

  9. What a team performance from team 7 today! after a blistering start from Karen and Bianca who were off the bar at regional team pace, then followed Lee “Mr Crossfit” Deegan and Scotty “animal” Thompson. Battling there way through the pull-ups they then knocked over the S2O gingerly, moving into the overhead squats seen captain CF do a set of 10 and call for the bucket. The bucket came out and the boys continued through the reps whilst Bianca and Karen watched the wounded bull dying slowly, Mr CF takes the bar again and throws up in his mouth determined not to loose any he swallows it and punches out another 10 reps, immediately after the set he crawls to the door and starts barfing in the bucket. This sets Bianca and Karen off who are determined to stop the bar hitting the ground start dry reaching and struggle to keep focus, meanwhile Scotty.T who had taken a quick seat to regather his breath attempts to stand only to fall backwards to the ground. A memory that will never leave my mind 🙂

Note: Nutrition and consistency may have contributed slightly to the problem.

    • I think you might be right Mick! ha ha, fun WOD though

  10. What a recap of what sounds like a great effort. Wish I could have seen it

  11. That recap was nealy as good as listening to Roy and HG at the olympics!!!!Love it!! Thankyou Gemma for coming in can’t wait when we do that again and your in the team. Your a fantastic mum xx chin up sleep is coming xoxox

  12. It was both frikkn hysterical as it was gross. There were a few stray spag outs …. Not game to stretch anywhere in yhat vicinity of the floor! Too much excitement for one day- i had to have a nanna nap this afternoon I was absolutely wiped!!!

  13. Mick you have a talent for the retelling !

  14. Well done to everyone today, a lot of fun had by all!!

Great to see 51 people hitting up the team WOD for the day. A reminder to make the effort to get in to finish of day 3 of 3 tomorrow. Saturday is a rest day and the box will be closed!!
