First Lieutenant Travis Manion, 26, of Doylestown, PA, assigned to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Camp Pendleton, CA, was killed by sniper fire on April 29, 2007 while fighting against an enemy ambush in Anbar Province, Iraq.

He is survived by his father, Colonel Tom Manion, mother Janet Manion, and sister Ryan Borek.

  9. hey manion this is craxy but heres my number, so call me maybe. constisancey is the key and an awesome very loud song to drown the pain away on the ipod. loved the wod today.a good way to finish of another 3 days of crossfit torture. 🙂

  10. Seeing as what I can’t do anything much because of the stitches in my back, I took Kodie for a walk today while it wasn’t raining or dark so I won’t be at training today.

  14. Excellent RXD Paula below 40min you rock. I would loved to have had a crack at that! Next time. Cliffo constantly amazing and well done Kurt D, thats a huge cross fit few days mate and you didn’t complain about the pain you just had a crack good on you!!!!

  15. ;( lots of modifications coming up for me, my age is not just showing on the outside but the inside is wearing out also. 10 week recovery for a tear in plantar fascia at insertion point on bone at heel. Ligament swollen to 3x its normal size so no running skipping jumping or explosive action off feet. Give up cross fit for a while???? Fuck No, hello unassisted pull ups, bring on a muscle up and I think I will become the ab machine queen. Back to the rower and a few things slower but cross fit is one addiction I can’t stop 😉
